XDRA Car Build Rules

Basic car guidelines consist of two main groups of racing, Pro and Sportsman.  Pro classes are more for the experienced racer who has prior knowledge of setup and maintenance, and Sportsman caters for the budget racer who can still achieve results on an equal basis.  Depending on what group the cars race and on what type of race meeting it is, then startlight sequence may differ.

Classes are more or less split into three categories in Sportsman.  These are Gasser (tintop sedan), Dragster (front-engined dragsters and altereds and rear-engined dragsters) and Funny Cars (front-engined narrowed and lengthened coupes).  Pro classes more or less only allow one type of car per class (except AA/Fuel and Top Alcohol).
