XSR Drag Racing:  One Straight Away From Victory

XSR evolved from the commercial Xtreme Slotcar Raceway in the Perth suburb of Welshpool, Western Australia, which had opened for business in the period 2000 to 2005.  Previously a scale 1/4 mile drag track, it has been reconfigured to be scale 1000ft racing.  Each and every Friday (weather permitting), XSR hold a DYO race, where cars of all shapes and sizes have a chance of taking the win.  Racing is by invitation only and must have prior permission of track owner beforehand.

XSRDragRacing.com began as a Freewebs free site in February 2006.  With Dave Hunter and the rest of the XSR racers and teams preparing and editing the web pages each week, the site followed the track's progress, with top racing starting back normal on the March 17th 2006 with a Test'n'Tune day.  The 12th January 2007 marked the return of racing after the traditional Christmas break.  The website was designed to inform the other slot car drag racers of the world of the races we hold, the classes we run and the people behind the cars.  We say hello to everyone linked to the worldwide hobby of slot drag racing and welcome all the curious real scale bystanders from WADragRacing.com and all the other websites that carry our logo or link and thank them for taking some time to check our site out. The DHV Web Productions sites traditionally use the Freewebs server for stability and will provide plenty of expansion for 2007 and beyond.
